Checking the firmware version on HP ScanJet scanners: - Start the HP PrecisionScan Pro scanning software. - Click on Help. - Click on About HP PrecisionScan Pro. - Look for the firmware version in the lower right corner of the dialog box (e.g. 0.8M). Choose the file you want to download to your system. With your mouse, click on the file. In the save as dialogue, you will be prompted to select the folder (subdirectory) where you want the file downloaded.
